1978 Cycle Kamp Motorcycle trailer CK-2 Cross-Country model

...a corollary to this mishap is the motorcyclist who forgets about his trailer and decides to do a little lane-splitting. Units like the Cycle Kamp are commendably compact - our tent camper was 37 in. wide - but this is still much too wide for shooting the gap. Once we'd done a little highway time in front of our Cycle Kamp (the CK-2 Cross Country model), we understood the necessity for constantly reminding ourselves that we were towing. The trailer is easy to forget. Although it weighs 220 lb., it's balanced so wel - just 34 lb. tongue weight about as low as you'd care to have it for an effetive hookup - that it's almost as unobtrusive as a set of panniers...
