1977 Suzuki PE250 - "The best mass produced enduro bike ever built" (Nov. '76 Cycle World)

Suzuki's PE250 was put through a test by Cycle World that would have "broken an anvil." Instead, after 1004 grueling Baja miles "the riders were exhausted," and "the PE250 was intact and running strong. Any serious competitor can expect to run the engine for at least 1000 miles before overhaul." The PE250 enduro is intended for competition use only. It is not intended for street use.
