1973 Rokon RT-340 Automatic ISDT Results / Factory Team Photo

On September 17, 1973, the Rokon factory team started a six day journey carrying them 1000 miles through the toughest terrain possible, the 48th International Six Days Trial, better known as the Olympics of Motorcycling. On September 22, this same team crossed the finish line, tired but successful. Jim Simmons had earned a bronze medal, Gary Snider a silver meal and Jim Fogle a bronze medal. In addition, the team brought home a special award - the Engineering Achievement Award, a 1st in 48 years of ISDT competition. RT340
