1972 Honda CB-175 Road Test - Screamin' Demon

Not the biggest or the fastest, the little twin is still a lot of motorcycle. Photos: The instruments are easy to read from the saddle. The first glance at the 10,500 RPM red line is startling; The overhead cam twin is smooth and dependable, but it requires lots of RPM to develop any power; The Honda forks give superb suspension on paved surfaces. The electrics are first class; The taillight is absolutely massive, but it sits low enough that the rear end profile looks all right; The front brake is very large for a machine this size, with plenty of stopping power for emergencies.
