Vintage Motorcycles doing well in lagging economy






A sputtering stock market has investors putting their money into hard goods. People like to buy things they can touch, smell and enjoy. The rarest of vintage motorcycles have been fetching six figures at auction yet the market still remains more affordable than classic cars. In October 2008, a super-charged Vincent Black Shadow sold for $383,400. Compared to securities, it looks as if the old motorcycles are a solid investment. See the full story at Los Angeles Times.
