1974 Triumphs scorch Bonneville

Big D Cycle Center's Jack Wilson brought his three-rider team to the famed Bonneville Salt Flats to do a little record breaking. And riders Jon Minnono, David Cantwell and Gary Wilson really did the job. Blistering the salt at speeds topping 165 mph, they set eight new Land Speed Records, knocking as much as 15 mph off the existing marks. All of these new records were set on Jack Wilson-tuned Triumph Tridents. All fitted wit Champion spark plugs. The brand that consistently sparks speed records at Bonneville, race victories at Daytona, dependable performance on streets and trails across America.
