Triumph announces 1951 Modifications







Featuring a drastically revised Tiger 100, the 1951 Triumph line consists of five models, the 350cc 3T de Luxe, the 500cc Speed Twin, the 500cc Tiger 100, the 500cc Trophy and the 650cc Thunderbird. Except for minor improvements and, in the case of the Thunderbird, an entirely new finish, all the 1951 models other than the Tiger 100 remain unchanged...

Pictured below are the 1951 Trophy (top), which model may be converted into a racing machine, and Thunderbird. The latter has an improved fuel feed system, employing large bore taps and lines which should remove any possibility of fuel restriction at high speeds.
