"The following was received by us from Al Papp of Hollywood. It expresses his opinion on the future of paved road racing in the United Stages. He also gives his ideas on how he thinks the sport can be improved as he outlines certain factors from a spectator's standpoint. Mr. Papp conducted a series of Class "A" Short-track races before and after the war. He also put on one of America's first all-paved road races at Santa Ana, as well as arranged for and conducted the motorcycle races held in conjunction with the Sport Car races at Camp Callan, Del Mar, California..."
