1965 Motorcycle Sport & Industry in Uruguay 1-Page Article

In Uruguay.....motorcycling is making enormous strides as a sport....there is no motorcycle industry in Uruguay whatsoever.

Motorcycles as a sport are organized by five clubs in Montevideo; Centro Motociclista which is affiliated with the Federation Internationale Motocycliste (F.I.M.); Club Union Motociclista which has 70% of the racers; Moto Club Uruguayo; Veloz Club Uruguayo, and Karting Moto Club, which form the Federacion Uruguaya de Motociclismo recognized by the Government and official organizer of the National Motorcycle Championships......
