Vintage 1977 Harley-Davidson Christmas Gifts

1977 Harley-Davidson Dealer Santa Claus Christmas Gifts 2-Page Ad available at www.DadsVintageAds.com

Vintage Ad text:

Nobody wants a necktie for Christmas. (A less than tolerant viewpoint from Harley-Davidson.) Being a motorcyclist, you already understand this message. You know what a great variety of gifts you can get for your friends and relatives simply by doing your yuletide shopping at your Harley-Davidson dealer. You buy good gifts, not neckties.

However, not everybody knows what you know. And they're buying for you.

So, if you want to avoid spending Christmas unwrapping white collar status symbols and embroidered handkerchiefs, you best figure a way to get this ad in front of your loved ones quick.

Let them see the unique gifts on this page and then remind them that they're looking at a small sample of what's in store for them at their Harley-Davidson dealer.

Like the Harley-Davidson Eagle belt buckle seen above. Anything else only holds up your pants.

Or how about one of our Eagle necklaces or pins? Your lady gets one for you, maybe you get one for her.

Your Harley-Davidson dealer is a great place for riding apparel, too.

Note the full black riding leathers featured below and to the left. Get those under your tree and you'll look almost as good as you Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The T-shirt you see is a man's model. At the store, you'll see them for women, too. Either way, they can only make your chest look better.

Then there's the Harley-Davidson approach to feet. A little sole in varying styles from the traditional brown Stud to the High Rider in black.

Or, how about Cycle Champ and Buckaroo jackets. They're stylish, functional, and have been known to attract the opposite sex.

Even our helmets have class. Proving that not everything the government suggests has to look like the government suggested it.

And let's not forget your machine. Here are two suggestions: Sportster cast wheels in black aluminum alloy. Because a Sportster deserves to roll in splendor.

And a laid-back passenger deserves to lay back in style. So consider the Harley-Davidson genuine eagle sissy bar.

And finally, hung by the chimney with care, the Harley-Davidson Christmas stocking. Loaded not with nuts, candy and toy trucks, but stuffed with biker goodies, instead. Everything from chrome cleaner to our Liberty Edition buckle.

This list of Christmas shopping suggestions is still just a small sampling of what awaits you at your Harley-Davidson dealer. See him today. Christmas is no time to compromise.

Excerpt from ad: "There's the zippy, economical Honda Express, the racy XR-75 and its street brother, the XL-75. The rugged CT-70 and mini-king Z-50A are designed for easy operation because there's no manual clutch. It's automatic. All these Hondas make great Christmas gifts.
