Laguna Seca. Even the name sounds poetic. And the name is not out of place, because the countryside around Laguna Seca is one of the most poetry-inspiring areas anywhere. The words Laguna Seca mean dry lake in Spanish, and the circuit itself is located where a deep lake once was, midway between Monterey and Salinas, in the heart of the "Steinbeck Belt."...
