1965 Canine Motorcycle Rider Gets License!

Zama (HQ, U.S. Army Japan) - Sir Wellington Buckskin Geddes II who is the mascot of the Zama Motorcycle Club, mounts a bie after receiving a driver's license from Sergeant First Class Charles E. Carter (background) Non-commissioned Officer-in-Charge of the camp's motor pool while club member Bob Shirley looks on. "Sir Wellington" was selected honorary mascot during the club's formation last January, but he will be unable to compete in motorcycle events because Boxer dogs do not own motorcycles, according to a spokesman.
