1972 Choppers - Bill Roberts, three crashes later... "Skinned Knuckle"

Cover: "Skinned Knuckle" - Sometimes it takes a rebuild or two to get a bike right. For Bill Roberts, it took three tries to get his knucklehead right. Mainly because every time he got it up, he got centerpunched by an old lady with kamikaze tendencies. Three times. Roberts uses his scoot for careful putting around the Bay area, watching for those damned left-turners.

Feature Chops: Skinned Knuckle, Gilt-Edge Sportster, If At First You Don't Succeed, From Customer to Mechanic in Difficult Stages, Long Haul Panhead; Tech Things: Chop Talk; Go Fast Goodies for the Super Glide; How to Dish a Sportster Tank; Big Inches for your Triumph; Old Knuckles Never Die; Park Puttin' - On Any Sunday with cops; more
