The article about Johnny Lomanto was fantastic . I had always thought that the stone mountain enduro was moved to Dalton Georgia in 1965 or 1966 . In 2009 I learned that the Stone mountain enduro was moved to Dalton Georgia in 1967 , It was said to be 75 miles long in length . Ledgend says that the 75 mile Stone mountain enduro was the first half of the early 100 mile national enduro . If this is true 25 miles of the run is missing . It is A mysyery that may never be solved .
