1962 Harley-Davidson, Bossier City, Louisiana 130-Mile Road Racing





H-D sweeps first four places in America's first 130-mile National Championship Road Race

1st - Carroll Resweber
2nd - Ralph White
3rd - Roger Reiman
4th - Bart Markel

One...two...three...four - that's how Harley-Davidson riders finished at Bossier City, Louisiana, on April 15. In fact, Harley-Davidson took 8 out of the first 10 places in the long, hard 130 mile grind. It was Carroll Resweber, Ralph White, Roger Reiman and Bart Markel followed by Harley-Davidson riders Larry Williamson in sixth; Larry Shaefer, eighth; Dick Hammer, ninth; George Roeder, tenth. Resweber also set a sensational new Time Trial Record to nail down the pole position.
