1979 Harley-Davidson XLH-1000 Sportster and 1979 Corvette in Candi Root Beer over Black Pearl Matched Set

This matched set costs a whole lot of money...guess how much and it's yours free. There has never been, and probably never will be, another matched set like this 1979 Harley-Davidson XLH1000 Sportster and 1979 Corvette in Candi Root Beer over Black Pearl. Custom designed by none other than Willie G. Davidson and painted by Butch Brinza, nationally acclaimed custom painter of exotic cars and motorcycles. And what a job Butch did: First, after careful block-sanding, he applied ten coats of primer followed by the base coat of Black Pearl. Over this, Butch layed coat after coat of Candi Root Beer. Next came the Harley-Davidson logos on both car and bike. To protect the masterpiece paint job six coats of clear lacquer were applied for a "foot-deep" finish. And last, but not least, dark red accent pinstriping was flawlessly applied by hand.If you can guess the retail value of this matched set...it's yours. At this point, so as to get a head start on your buddies, you'd probably rather have a quick run down of all the additional equipment on each...Here goes: Sportster: Sissy bar with back rest pad, chrome footpeg end caps, right hand rearview mirror, air cleaner grille, chrome oil cooler, oil cooler cover, Eagle A/T raised white letter tires, oil filter kit, hi-way pegs, chrome timer cover, gold finished "1000" and "Sportster" medallions, chrome passenger peg end caps, custom paint and striping.
