Suzuki's smallest multi is fast, and technicaly appealing, but has some shortcomings of note... some of the features are really commendable...lack of vibration for solo riders...good road holding and a stable ride down expressways...the most disappointing aspect for touring types concerns unacceptable vibration in the passenger footpegs. The passenger pegs are bolted to a portion of the frame that supports the exhaust pipes. They are rubber mounted like the engine itself, but the vibration still gets through to the passenger...

1972 Daytona Motorcycle Racing Board Game - "Daytona by Dice"
...you take one die, friends - that's half a pair o' dice - and roll it, choosing your mount in accordance with the number of little dots on its uppermost surface, thusly: one for Yamaha, two for Norton, three for BSA, four for Honda, five for Suzuki, and six for Kawasaki. Then, selecting a suitable grommet to represent said mount, roll the aforementioned die to determine the number of spaces you are to travel each turn for Cycle World's version of Daytona by Dice.
As you have probably noticed by now, it gets a bit tiresome turning the page back and forth. To obtain full enjoyment of the game, our circulation manager suggests you buy two issues, cut the game out of each one and glue them on some convenient flat surface...

Classic Motorcycle Test - Scott "Flying Squirrel" - one of today's more unusual anachronisms
"With only a dozen or so known Scott owners in the United States at present, we had to look pretty hard to find one who would be willing to let the machine out for a short ride and have it subjected to the Cycle World scales, rulers and prying camera. Such a person we found through Alan Girdler..."
Two articles for the price of one! With this "Flying Squirrel" Test you also will get the article, "History of Scott" by Geoffrey Wood.
"If you haven't read the "History of Scott," by Geoffrey Wood, elsewhere in this issue it would pay you to do so at this time and return to the "Flying Squirrel" test after you've digested it. Being well acquainted with the history of Scott motorcycle will make this test much more enjoyable and understandable."

1970 Harley-Davidson Sportster 900cc vintage motorcycle print ad
Sportster makes the dust the others eat. 900cc Sportsters are boss power. Brothers to the lean and angry record breakers at Bonneville, Daytona, Atco Dragway. New port design and large racing valves for more urge than ever. Tucked in down a straight or sucking through a high-speed bend. Sportsters fly out front. That's where you want to be. And you can have it either way...lean CH or electric-start H. Anything else is second best.

1970 Maico 505 Motorcycle Print Article - "They're Getting Bigger And Bigger - And Bigger"
We had the chance to ride the biggest single cylinder two-stroke motocrosser yet...at first glance, the 505 Maico looks very much like the 360, except for a couple of small differences. The first thing you notice are the fiberglass fenders replacing the aluminum alloy jobs. The only other visible difference is the positively huge cylinder and redesigned engine covers. Other than that, the motorcycle looks identical to the 360 version. Looks can be deceiving...
