1972 Vintage BMW Motorcycle Ad - "Wunderbike"

The 1972 BMW. It's here. The most exciting BMW we've ever built! What it delivers most of is Everything. Super-star styling. Speed. Strength. Reliability. And you-better-believe power. BMW's famed horizontal twins - 500, 600, 750 cc - are what power is all about. You can cruise at over 100mph without puwshing it. Or feling it. Or hearing it. That's how smooth, cool and quiet this bike rides. And that's what the BMW really likes best. Riding. Hard. Fast. For the freewheeling fun of it. Which is where other motorcycles leave off and something new begins. Take the roads as you find them. Lean the bie into a tight turn. Way down. (BMW can make it if you can.) Then straighten up and take off into the future. Your future. On the most exciting classic we've ever built. The 1972 BMW. 1971 Motorcycle Article - Don Sliger's Screamer

Years of experience in building Bonneville bikes has culminated in this simple, sanitary, supercharged speedster. Don Sliger is something of an unusual motorcyclist in a number of ways. In the first place, he is a sculptor by occupation which means he really makes his living at it, rather than just pursuing it as a hobby. His hobby is motorcycles, but here again his interest is specialized enough to be different. Sliger limits his motorcycling activities to building and running special machines on the Salt Flats at Bonneville, where the object is to go as fast as possible. 1971 Don Sliger's Screamer 4-Page Article available at www.DadsVintageAds.com CLICK THE PICTURE TO "BUY IT NOW"
