Sell the motorcycle that has consumer acceptance! The most talked about motorcycle in America! The Jawa 250. Never in the history of motorcycling has a machine reeived such enthusiastic acceptance! From coast to coast buyers are telling us their JAWA's are giving pleasure and service they never expected to get out of any motorcycle. Yes, the JAWA is a new kind of motorcycle..designed for comfortable, sensible transportation with all the zip you want in a motorcycle. The streamlined JAWA takes the toughest road without jounce or jar. It'll do 65 miles per hour and better without sway. JAWA brakes are as soft as a set of four-wheel hydraulics. And man, is it easy on the gas...95 miles per gallon! Here is the only motorcycle at any price which combines such modern features as Tele-Float spring suspension, front and rear...automatic clutching...four-speed foot gear shift...constant mesh transmission...every feature a sales-clincher! The JAWA sells at a price which makes it 1949's outstanding motorcycle buy. And the attractive dealer discount makes JAWA an outstanding sales proposition. National advertising and publicity, sales helps and cooperative local newspaper advertising will be in back of every JAWA dealer...building up a demand that will make a JAWA franchise one of the most valuable in the two-wheel transportation field.

1963 BSA Gold Star / Jody Nicholas wins 150 Mile National Championship
Speed: - with dependability - combined with BSA superb handling, and powerful braking enabled Jody Nicholas to win both 100 mile and 150 mile National Road Racing Championships in 1963! Meadowdale Raceway (near Chicago) Illinois, August 11, 1963; riding his fast BSA Gold Star in brilliant style, Jody Nicholas, 1963 100 Mile Champion, was unbeatable in the 150 Mile National at Meadowdale. In winning, the "mighty mite" from Tennessee lapped the entire field, established a new course record, beat all records including those set by racing cars. Jody's winning BSA was run without a fairing, against a large field of top esperts many with streamlining. Another great BSA victory!

1963 Motorcycle Article: Navy's Blue Angels "Fly" a Honda
America's famed precision flying team, the Blue Angels, has a new mascot...it's a Honda. The crack jet pilots have purchased the bike in what may be the first time a motorcycle has been consistently used as part of a military flight operation. The once bright red unit already has been painted with the Navy's blue and gold, and carries the Blue Angels' insignia. Flown around the world in the cargo ship assigned the team, the Honda will be used for field transportation and recreation at each Blue Angels' event...

1963 Motorcycle Racing Article: Top Men in Europe: Jack Ahearn
You will not get Jack Ahearn to admit how old he is, but some idea can be gained from the fact that he started racing out in his home country of Australia back in 1943. This makes it a fair bet that he must be in the region of thirty-seven and for a man of that age he is having a remarkably good road racing season...
