1960 December Cycle Times - Stan Engdahl flips his Harley-Davidson CH

Marquette's Stan Engdahl found himself flat on his back with a churning Harley CH resting on his chest when the machine walked out from under him at the start of the open Final. Fortunately, Engdahl, though knocked partially unconscious was not hurt seriously, ending up gasping for breath and with a yard-long "strawberry" across his back.
