1965 International Six Days Trial - Fog and Rain take heavy toll on entries in 40th ISDT
Top left Photo: Down to the seaside village of Laxey on the Isle of Man, go Scott Ellis (350cc BSA) trailing an unknown Russian. Incidentally, only BSA to finish was a privately-entered 350cc model by Bill Faulkner. Of 299 entries only 82 went the distance. None of the 20 Americans entered finished. Event was considered toughest in its 40-year history.
