Bob Fanniff, motorcycle policeman from Glendale, California, has definite ideas about doling up a bike. Starting with a stock 1947 Harley-Davidson ohv job for which he paid $425, Bob promptly dismantled it to the last bolt and headed for the platers. Care was taken not to over-chrome, fault of many motorcycle perfectionists. Note phosphorus bronze-plated heads.
