1972 Kawasaki Monotrack triple - quite possibly the wildest Kawasaki ever built

Cover story...The Monotrack is based on a 1970 Kawasaki 500 H1 500 cc triple, and then goes nuts from there. This particular bike was built in 1972 and was one of 19 units. Half used 500 cc engines and the balance sported the nasty 750 cc two-stroke triple mill. Dan Hanebrink was the designer/engineer/builder and he sold complete bikes an/or kits. A recognized eccentric genius, Hanebrink was fed up with the current status of sport bikes, and designed a number of one-ioffs that never made it to the mass prodution stage...
